Handrail brackets

A well-considered choice of handrail fittings ties the staircase together with the rest of the house's fixed fittings. Our range includes handrail brackets and handrail hooks that fit both round handrails and flat grip boards, making it easy to find the right fitting for your staircase, regardless of the house's architecture.

The shape of the fitting's upper side determines which type of handrail it fits:

• Concave upper side: For round handrails (round bar) where the rail needs to sit stably in a rounded cup. For example, our classic model 87.
• Flat upper side: For square or rectangular grip boards. Models such as 952 come with a completely flat mount for a minimalist installation.

Create a uniform style in the home by matching the fittings with your door handles and light switches. Choose from the following materials:

• Mässing: Available as polished brass for classic shine, untreated brass that darkens naturally over time, and oxidised brass for an older, antique style.
• Black and white: Matt black surfaces for graphic contrast or white lacquered for discreet mounting against light walls.
• Chrome, nickel and stainless steel: Mattborstad nickel and stainless steel for modern environments, as well as polished chrome for a mirror-bright surface.
• Gjutjärn: Untreated cast iron for a robust, industrial feel.

For the result to be as good as possible, it is important how the fixing is done. Here you'll find the accessories you need to conceal screw heads and protect the wall when mounting your bracket to your stair railing:

• Dome nuts: Available with slotted screw for older styles and Allen screw for more modern fixtures. Conceals the threads and the screw.
• Wall bracket: Placed between the wall and your handrail bracket to distribute the pressure against the plasterboard and cover any marks in the wallpaper or paint.
